What is the job?
The Asset Support Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Asset Management team. Collaboration with various departments including Depot locations, Sales and Service teams will be required.
This role will be critical to the smooth running of the Asset Management department to enable the team to meet with its business and department objectives, customer needs and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of the status of generator and ancillary assets
- Input and manage stock take results throughout the business
- Management of the Asset Request Database to ensure equipment requests are dealt with in a timely manner
- Maintain the telemetry database to ensure accurate recording of telemetry units against generator assets
- Update the Insphire database with asset modifications and descriptions
- Updating of Insphire database with new plant numbers / scrapping of redundant plant numbers as directed by the Asset Management team
- Raising and closing off of purchase orders as required by the Asset Management team
- Perform general administrative duties as required / directed by the Asset Management team
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in office support and administration, preferably within the generator or hire related industry
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and asset management databases such as Insphire
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff throughout the business
