Working within the Milton Keynes Depot you will produce delivery and off hire notes, hire quotations and job sheets, raise purchase orders, answer incoming telephone calls and provide administration support to the team. This is a varied role and on occasions you may be required to work overtime.
Answer incoming telephone calls.
Using the Inspire database to produce Delivery Notes and Off Hire Notes for all equipment hired on a daily basis.
Produce hire quotations using the InspHire database for new and existing clients, liaising with the Depot Manager, Assistant Depot Manager and Sales Manager as required.
Produce job sheets as required for Engineers etc.
Raise Purchase orders as required.
Provide administration support to office and yard staff as required.
Contact customers to chase outstanding quotes and help maintain quotation database (InspHire and Goldmine).
Ad-hoc administrative duties.
In the absence of Depot/Assistant Depot Manager carry out duties that are fair and reasonable to ensure the smooth running of the depot.
Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
Comply with all aspect of the company ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
