Job Purpose:
To ensure the assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to an
excellent level for the benefit and comfort of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- General toilet maintenance for all site toilets ensuring all areas are cleaned daily and dispensers maintained and refilled as necessary. Reporting any damage and necessary repairs to the Maintenance Team.
- Ensure all bins from both the canteens and the toilet areas are emptied on a daily basis and that they are disposed of in the correct containers.
- Clean offices and administration areas on a daily basis, and as necessary.
- Clean the general warehouse areas ensuring they are kept as free from dirt and dust as possible including warehouse stairs and ‘safe walking areas’ areas, using industrial cleaner where necessary.
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
- Comply with all aspects of the company quality management procedures (ISO 9001:2015), environmental management standards (ISO 14001: 2015) and the ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety standard, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience of cleaning in a workshop environment essential
- Good awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
- Quality is really important, to provide high standard of service
- Good time management skills
- Ability to prioritise work
