Hours: 8:30 - 17:00 Alternate Days (Week 1 Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Week 2 Tuesday & Thursday)

What is the job?
You will be the first point of contact, greeting all clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, either face-to-face or via telephone, adhering to our reception service standards at all times.
Working alternate days to the other receptionist you are required to cover reception duties during holidays and planned sickness, for which you will be paid the normal rate of pay.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Greet all visitors and clients on entry to the premises.
- Inform relevant staff member of the visitor’s arrival.
- Ensure visitors sign in and out of the visitor book and issue them with a visitor pass / Hi-Viz.
- Answer calls promptly and professionally, transfer calls to the relevant department and take a short message where necessary.
- Be responsible for opening all incoming mail (unless addressed to an individual) every morning, date stamping correspondence and distributing to each department.
- Responsible for updating the fuel management records for company vehicles, making this information available to the Management Accountant at the end of each week.
- Frank all outgoing mail on a daily basis, this also includes recorded delivery items.
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required.
- Comply with the Company's Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy.
- Comply with all aspects of the Company’s ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001:2015 / Environmental - ISO 14001: 2015 / Occupational health and safety management - ISO 45001:2018, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
