Job title: Rental Administrator

Reports to: Hire Manager

Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week 

Location: Warmley, Bristol BS30 8TY

Key Tasks & Main Duties

1.Produce all Rental related paperwork (Delivery Notes, Off Hire Notes, Job Sheets, Purchase Orders etc) on behalf of Rental Manager.

 

2. Complete daily booking in and out of Delivery and Off-Hire Notes.

 

3. Update InspHire with, and issue new plant numbers, for new equipment and update accounts system accordingly.

 

4. Maintain hire department purchase order register, matching invoices to purchase orders as required.

 

5. Answer telephones when rental department is busy.

 

6. Off-Hire equipment with customers.

 

7. Carry out ad-hoc duties as required.

 

8. Produce all paperwork for Cross Hires and maintain Cross Hire file.

 

9. Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy

10. Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2015 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme

 

 

Skills and requirement

  • Good organisational and communication skills are required.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Previous telephone sales or customer service experience 
  • Good IT skills, primarily in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
