Location: South West Headquarters - Bristol

Company Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the largest generator specialist in the South West. Working within the Parts Department you will purchase spares, consumables, etc.  receive, check and unload goods from suppliers, and organise couriers to deliver products to customers.  This is a varied role and on occasions you may be required to work overtime.

Job Purpose:

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the largest generator specialist in the South West. Working within the Parts Department you will purchase spares, consumables, etc.  receive, check and unload goods from suppliers, and organise couriers to deliver products to customers.  This is a varied role and on occasions you may be required to work overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase spares, consumables, stationery, cleaning products, ensuring stock levels are maintained at suitable levels.
  • Organise couriers to deliver customer goods as required.
  • Ensure stores area is tidy and well organised.
  • Comply with the company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy.
  • Comply with all aspects of the company’s ISO 9001:2015 quality management, ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 health & safety standards, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme

Skills and Experience 

  1. Good organisational and communication skills.
  2. Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred.
  3. Good IT skills.
  4. Good commercial awareness.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure.
  6. A forklift licence is beneficial - in-house training can be provided.
