What is the job?

You will be based in Warmley working with the PDI Team preparing the tanks for the Hire fleet.

Key Tasks & Main Duties 

• Prepare and maintain fuel tanks for hire fleet.
• Carry out repairs on generators broken down on customer site, as required.
• Provide general assistance in the yard, including servicing generators and tower lights if required
• Drive forklift in yard as required, including loading & offloading equipment.
• Re-book into stock any equipment, returned by 3rd party transport.
• Deliver & collect generators and ancillary equipment using appropriate company vehicles where required, including re-fuelling.
• Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.
• Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
• May be required to participate in the on-call rota.

Skills and Experience Required 

• General engineering background – Desirable
• Forklift Licence – Desirable
• Diesel Awareness – Desirable
