What is the job?
You will be based in Warmley working with the PDI Team preparing the tanks for the Hire fleet.
Key Tasks & Main Duties
- Prepare and maintain fuel tanks for hire fleet.
- Carry out repairs on generators broken down on customer site, as required.
- Provide general assistance in the yard, including servicing generators and tower lights if required
- Drive forklift in yard as required, including loading & offloading equipment.
- Re-book into stock any equipment, returned by 3rd party transport.
- Deliver & collect generators and ancillary equipment using appropriate company vehicles where required, including re-fuelling.
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.
- Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
- May be required to participate in the on-call rota.
Skills and Experience Required
- General engineering background – Desirable
- Forklift Licence – Desirable
- Diesel Awareness – Desirable
