What is the job?
This is an excellent opportunity to work with the largest generator specialist in the South West. You will be based at our Midlands depot, working with the PDI Team preparing and testing the tanks for the Rental fleet.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Prepare and maintain fuel tanks for hire fleet
- Carry out periodic inspections of fuel tanks for the hire fleet
- Provide general assistance in the yard where required
- Drive fork lift in yard as required, including loading and offloading equipment
- Re-book into stock any equipment, returned by transport.
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.
- Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2015 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
Skills and requirements
- General engineering background – Desirable.
- Forklift Licence – Desirable.
- Diesel Awareness - Desirable.
- Confined Spaces Awareness – Desirable – (Training will be given).
