Bristol Balloon Fiesta
A family favourite, the fiesta sees the skies over Bristol filled with an eclectic mix of minions, penguins and dragons, along with more traditionally-shaped balloons. Twice a day they take off from Ashton Court, where spectators gather to enjoy the view, along with aerial displays, fairground rides and fireworks.
The Challenge
As with many outdoor events, the Balloon Fiesta relies heavily on hire generators to supply temporary power to the site for this four day event.
The Solution
Power Electrics worked with electrical contractor Templine to provide Ashton Court with sufficient power for the four-day event. This year we supplied 14 generators ranging from 30kVA to 300kVA, in addition to fuel tanks and over 21,500 litres of fuel.
All equipment was delivered by our in-house transport fleet and set up by our team of knowledgeable drivers and specialist engineers. We were also on-hand 24/7 to provide emergency support, should the need arise.
