The generator was brought in as a standby measure after a G59 fault with the company’s existing equipment kept resulting in power failure.
Responding to customer requirements, Power Electrics provided an FG Wilson generator set with an Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) control panel. In the event of a mains power failure, the AMF control panel will automatically transfer the load to the generator so that the distribution centre can remain operational.
We also supplied a fully bunded 9000L bulk fuel tank with 32 hours running time and a complete fuel management service. In order to accurately detect when more fuel is required, we have fitted the generator with a remote monitoring device.
This device links to an app downloaded by our service engineers and sends them an alert when the generator is being used. They can then monitor the generator’s fuel consumption, ensuring that additional fuel is delivered before the existing supply runs out.
