Police Custody Suites
Back up power is required by many different industries, in this case law enforcement needed a helping hand and Power Electrics were ready to help them with all their power needs.
The Challenge
To supply and deliver two container generators, to support two police custody suites in the Midlands area, as standby units in case of mains power failure.
The Solution
Working with an electrical contractor, we delivered and installed a 640kVA and an 800kVA generator to support two custody suites in the Midlands area.
Housed in acoustic containers, these generators have been supplied as standby units in case of mains power failure. Both generators have been fitted with ComAp synchronising panels to ensure a no-break return upon mains power being reinstated.
Each generator has an incorporated base fuel tank, however we've also supplied external bulk fuel tanks for increased running time. A fuel transfer system will automatically transfer fuel from the external tank to the day tank.
The final pipe work was completed on site by our in-house engineers, in line with customer specification.
