Government Training Facility
The Challenge
The HV power supply for a government training facility had been delayed by two years. Power was required for the new facility to be operational.
The Solution
Power Electrics installed two 1250kVA synchronous generators, a 27,000 litre fuel tank, a custom cable ramp, 300 metres of cable and a 2000A isolator as part of a fully managed project.
The generators will be operating in parallel to support a common load, so in the unlikely failure of one generator set, the other unit will be able to manage the site load with no break in power.
The generators are now providing power for the new facility, enabling the client to continue training staff.
